If the CH in the K12 contest found two names they gave 5 stars to…what would be their premise to cancel? Wouldn’t the criteria be if they didn’t get any appropriate names?
I guess if those two names turned out to have trademarks or something that would make them unusable upon further research. That’s my guess.
CH’s not always are final decision makers. Maybe CH loved those names, but his boss or his team did not like them.
@hollygirl , a CH can cancel a non guaranteed contest if they do not find a suitable name. It’s possible they might like certain entries and give them 5 stars but when they do their final checks, they might decide that the name is not appropriate. This could be due to many reasons such as Trademark availability, market research, feedback from their committee etc
