If a max number of letters is set at 12…you can go up to 14,right? So how does a name win that has 16 letters? How could they even get it to submit? I had names past the 14 letters, and it would kick it out saying too long. I am puzzled.
It is possible that the contest brief changed along the way, and the CH reduced the number of characters. If you have a specific example, please share and we will look into it.
