First, I realize what you are trying to accomplish and appreciate that. But I don't think this process has been thought all the way through.
Say I am the Client. I pay a crowdsourcing platform to help me find a name for my new business I just can't seem to come up with on my own. Starting your business takes a lot of your time and money and often have little to spare but you need it and you are going to look at platforms that do this.
You read the brief the platform gives you and it mentions Tiers. Do you want to pay extra for those special creatives.
Ok....what does that say. It is telling Clients on a budget that you are paying hard earned money for just mediocre talent. And for the ones that say ok, I want the best most successful creatives but wait...my money is only getting a special group and not everyone this platform has to offer? What if you don't see anything that group gave you that you liked, what could you have seen had you been able to get all the creatives.
I am not trying to cause disharmony, but that is what the Tier platform is going to do, has already done. It has caused a separation of creatives. Making some feel they aren't good enough so why are they even trying. I personally think it's a bad business idea all the way around.
And I would like to see SH continue to rise and shine because when you do, we do.
